Maintaining a high-energy evangelistic lifestyle isn’t easy, is it? Sometimes our passion for personal outreach begins to flicker. Call it unspiritual. Call it sin. But let’s be honest enough to call it what it undeniably is: very, very real. So what can we do about it? Here are some steps I take when these doldrums hit.
The Holy Spirit makes a powerful difference in our lives and witnessing. Without the Holy Spirit we can’t do anything, but with Him, all things are possible.
The Bible says, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things – and the things that are not – to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him” (1 Corinthians 1:27-29, NIV).
