Lesbian Sues Christian Dating Site
Jun 5th, 2007 by TheStraitGate
Christian dating site eharmony.com , which was founded by Christian evangelical Neil Warren, is being sued by a North Californian woman on the basis that the site discriminates against gays, lesbians and bisexuals.
The woman said she tried to use the eharmony.com site in February to meet a woman, but could not based on her sexual orientation.
So she has filed a lawsuit which claims that, by only offering to find a compatible match for men seeking women or women seeking men, the company was violating state law barring discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.
While she’s at it, maybe she could file a claim against the Roman Catholic church for refusing to have female priests, presumably that violates the same state law.
eHarmony have issued a statement saying: “Nothing precludes us from providing same-sex matching in the future, it’s just not a service we offer now based upon the research we have conducted.”
Hopefully the research they have conducted is a study of the Bible!
What I don’t understand is why any non-heterosexual would think they could find a suitable partner amongst the membership of a Christian dating site. Why not just join a dating site that caters for their …em… preference? It’s not as if that kind of site doesn’t exist.

Makes no sense to me, but I can see it happening. Although, many consider themselves Christian, most just don’t want to be excluded by anyone.
Good thoughts.
Are you aware of the ads displayed next to this post?
Oh my goodness - no I wasn’t. I shall have to do something about them. Thank you.
Well Mark this is odd, I haven’t had chance to make any changes but the ads have reverted to appropriate ads all by themselves. I shall have to keep my eye on this page and make sure they don’t revert to the kind of ads that you saw earlier.
We should all join together to pray the lesbo out of this woman. If that doesn’t work we could revert to Roman methods. Stone her!
Or we could revert to Christ’s methods of John 8 - “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her” (ESV)
He said nothing about the first flaming arrow.
I guess i should sue the Klan because they will not let me, a black man, join their group. Or maybe the North American Kennel club, because i have a cat.
what absurdity, but it is the gay agenda trying to push itself on the rest of us. Pray for all people lost in their sin that satan will come out of them and they come to know Jesus as their personal savior.
I guess if we follow the logic of being without sin then cast he first stone would be logical for bringing up the issues in Darfur or global aids? Nah, it doesnt mean that at all.
I see an inappropriate link now. “edited”…
Concerned, thank you for pointing that out.
I am going to have to find a way to get rid of those ads on this page. There is a new release of Wordpress (the blogging platform I use) being released today and once I have installed it I shall hopefully figure out a way to get rid of them.
