The Guideposts OurPrayer Ministry, which is part of the Ruth Stafford Peale Prayer Power Network, has announced its first-ever 30 Days of Prayer program – a new month long initiative to inspire and renew spirits.

Starting on February 1st, the campaign will offer a seamless way to empower individuals to include prayer in one’s life through the delivery of an email newsletter for 30 days straight, complete with a Scripture and prayer tip, and an option for submitting a daily prayer request that will be prayed for by OurPrayer volunteers and visitors. Additionally, the initiative offers an invitation to join a 30 Days of Prayer group to share prayers, challenges and more.

“The 30 Days of Prayer program was born in response to those looking for a more practical way to put the power of prayer to work in one’s life. The daily emails will offer direction and encouragement that will transform the way people pray and live. And with our 30 Days of Prayer group, participants will experience the power of persistent prayer and praying together, sharing success and encouraging words with one another. The 30 Days of Prayer is a month-long investment that will yield a lifetime of benefits,” said Rev. Dr. Peola Hicks, Manager for OurPrayer.

OurPrayer, part of the Outreach Division of Guideposts, is a central part of the non- denominational organization. As a way to reach out and serve people in need, a live Prayer Line was set up – and benefiting from modern technology, this ministry has expanded to the Web, Facebook, and Twitter. Whether they operate via telephone lines or their personal computer, dedicated people volunteer their time to listen to and support those in need, offering prayers of hope in response to their requests.
