Bible Reading Plans

Through the Bible in a Year
Each day of this reading plan includes a reading from both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Beginning in Genesis and Matthew, the readings continue sequentially and over the course of a full year, you will never read the same passage twice.

Every Day in the Word
In this Bible reading plan you will find a reading from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs every day. The plan divides the text into 365 sections, so you can read through the entire Bible in one year, in as little as 15 minutes a day. In one year, you will read the Old Testament, New Testament, and Proverbs once, and all of the Psalms twice.

Book of Common Prayer Daily Office Lectionary
This plan follows the Daily Office Lectionary found in The Book of Common Prayer (1979) which is used by Anglicans and Episcopalians around the world.

One Year Tract Bible Reading Plan
Based on the M’Cheyne reading system, this plan features four different Bible readings for use in both family and personal devotions. Each day you will find two passages from the Old Testament, one passage from the New Testament, and a further passage from either the Psalms or the Gospels. In one year, you get to read the New Testament and Psalms twice, and the Old Testament once.

Chronological Bible Reading Guide
With this plan you read the events of the Bible as they occurred chronologically. For example, the Book of Job is integrated with Genesis because of the fact that Job lived before Abraham. This reading plan is copyright Back to the Bible.
